Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a well respected fenestration business who are looking for a passionate content marketing manager to join their dynamic team and help tell our client’s story in the most compelling way possible.
Our client is a forward-thinking trade body, dedicated to supporting the glass and glazing industry in the UK. They champion innovation, sustainability, and best practices, and are passionate about helping our members succeed in a fast-evolving sector.
The daily responsibilities will include writing and managing the content, therefore creativity and strong written communication skills are essential to this role.
*Please note, this is a hybrid role and will require occasional travel to the office for meeting and to events.*
Role and responsibilities:
- Manage the Content Calendar: Stay ahead of the curve with a strategic editorial calendar that ensures we’re always delivering fresh, relevant, informative and timely content that resonates with our audience.
- Become a Storyteller: You’ll tell the story of the glass and glazing industry, positioning our client as an influential voice and thought leader that others in the sector look to for inspiration and guidance.
- SEO & Analytics: You’ll use your SEO expertise to ensure our content is discoverable, while tracking performance and fine-tuning strategies to boost engagement and drive growth.
- Craft a Winning Strategy: You’ll lead the charge in developing and executing a dynamic content marketing strategy that captures attention, inspires action, and aligns with their goals.
- Create Impactful Content: You’ll create content that speaks directly to our members and industry partners, offering value and insights at every turn.
- Lead Compelling Campaigns: You’ll create content-driven campaigns around industry trends, events, and key initiatives that excite and engage our audience, raising our client’s profile and deepening connections that will ultimately generate membership growth.
- Collaborate & Innovate: You’ll work closely with social media, design, and PR teams to deliver consistent, high-impact messaging across all platforms – driving awareness and building our community.
Candidate skills & experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a content management/similar role.
- Considerable experience of working across multiple teams/depts on numerous projects simultaneously.
- Experience of supervising direct reports or managing a small team with empathy and compassion
- Experienced in producing both B2B and B2C content.
- Be fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Expertise with using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes effective keyword placement
- Extremely computer literate, especially with how to write, interpret, and edit HTML scripts
- Basic technical knowledge of WordPress and other CMS platforms is preferable but not essential.
