We are working with a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminium systems, supplying both the trade and commercial sectors. The company prides itself on precision engineering, exceptional customer service, and delivering innovative aluminium solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Aluminium Window and Door Estimator to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview

As an Aluminium Window and Door Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations based on client specifications, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining our high standards. You will work closely with the sales and production teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and customer enquiries to produce accurate and detailed cost estimates.
• Use estimating software to generate quotations for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and associated products.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Work closely with the sales team to develop tailored quotations and proposals for trade and commercial clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies when preparing estimates.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, offering expert advice and guidance on product specifications.
• Assist in value engineering to provide the most cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
• Monitor and track quotations, following up as required to secure orders.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in estimating aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling is essential.
• Strong knowledge of aluminium systems (e.g., Schüco, Reynaers, AluK, or similar).
• Proficiency in using industry-specific estimating software.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
