Chase Taylor Recruitment has partnered with a UK leading aluminium fenestration business who are looking for an operations director to join their dynamic business.

Our client is well known within the industry and has been trading successfully for over 40 years, known for their impressive product range and customer satisfaction.

Role responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless production processes, maximum efficiency, and optimal resource allocation.
• Manage and motivate a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Implement strategies to improve production workflows, reduce downtime, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Develop and execute production schedules to meet customer demands while ensuring on-time delivery and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all products meet our stringent quality standards by overseeing the implementation of quality control processes throughout the production line.
• Manage budgets for the operations department, ensuring effective allocation of resources while maximising profitability.
• Monitor and report on operational performance, providing recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Communicate effectively across departments to resolve issues, ensure smooth workflows, and meet customer deadlines.

Candidate’s skills and experience:

• Proven experience as an Operations Director or in a similar leadership role within the window and door industry.
• Strong background in aluminium window and door manufacturing or related fenestration products is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, inventory management and logistics.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive high-performing teams.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
