Roof Order Processor

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a successful window and door business who are looking to expand their team. They are looking to recruit a Roof order processor. 

Our client is a UK leading specialist that specialise in designing and manufacturing a range of bespoke, high performance roofs for conservatory roof replacements and single story extensions. They are known for their outstanding customer/client experience and good working culture.

The right candidate for this role will have current or recent experience designing/order processing conservatory roofs within the fenestration market.

The role responsibilities:

• Interpret customer drawings and requests
• Deal with customer/ clients enquiries including accurate quotations of products and follow up to ensure they are satisfied and answer any questions they may have
• Keep all records up to date 
• Prepare and check manufacturing packs to the correct specifications as part of the quality control process
• Maintain the organisation’s order tracking database, update with any changes, and ensure the information is correctly passed on to the relevant parties
• Where required, arrange for the provision of parts/replacements with the Business Function and Customer First office
• Record all issues dealt with in the official database and report all progress
• Answer incoming calls and technical enquiries regarding to products
• Ensure that all deadlines are met in a timely manner and colleagues/managers are kept informed of progress
• Training will be provided where needed

The persons skills and experience:

• Have current knowledge and experience working within the fenestration industry
• Experience of a wide range of quotations, drawing and design software such as CAD/AutoCAD
• Good technical knowledge and understanding of solid roof systems
• Hold excellent customer service and communication skills
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be able to work towards deadlines and targets
• Can use own initiative and work within a team
