We are recruiting for a Domestic Window and Door Salesperson to join a successful home imporiovement company based in Derby. Established over 50 years ago and have an excellent reputation in the local area.
This position is responsible for selling and promoting windows and doors to residential customers, often involving in-home consultations, product demonstrations, and closing sales. You need to have a strong understanding of various window and door styles, materials, and installation options, as well as excellent communication and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting with customers:
- Attending pre-qualified appointments or conducting door-to-door sales to identify customer needs and demonstrate products.
- Understanding and explaining the features, benefits, and installation options of different window and door products.
- Providing quotes and estimates:
- Measuring windows and doors, preparing accurate quotes, and explaining financing options.
- Negotiating and securing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Building relationships with customers, providing exceptional service, and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborating with installation teams to ensure smooth and timely installations.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, new products, and installation techniques.
Skills and Requirements needed:
- Proven experience in face-to-face selling, especially in the home improvement or building materials industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers.
- Negotiation skills:
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals.
- Familiarity with window and door products, materials, styles, and installation processes.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships.
- Valid Driving license
